The Division of Renal-Electrolyte in the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center are seeking outstanding physicians for a tele-medicine Nephrologist.

The Division of Renal-Electrolyte has built a dynamic and collaborative group of clinician educators. In addition to expertise in general nephrology, we are looking for candidates who wish to provide tele-inpatient coverage to our UPMC Altoona Hospital. This position will be a full-time role with weekday, rotating overnight and rotating weekend coverage. The is a remote position, however active PA license, and license for the state of residence are required. The physician will be expected to provide chart review and medical advice to the house staff as appropriate.

We have strong basic and clinical research programs, and encourage translational research activities. There are opportunities for leadership roles within our division. Qualified candidates must be:
-ABIM board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified/board eligible in Nephrology
-Licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania (and state of residence if outside PA)
