Nephrology Job Description
The Division of Nephrology in the Department of Medicine at UConn Health seeks candidates for a clinical faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor. The Division of Nephrology has a well-established tradition of excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research. The Division supports an active fellowship program, outpatient clinics, hospital consultation, outpatient dialysis and plasma exchange, and educational roles within the Schools of Medicine and Graduate School. Applicant must have a M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree and demonstrate qualifications in patient care, education, and scholar activities. Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Board Certification or Eligibility in Nephrology are required. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching fellows, residents, and medical students, caring patients with kidney disease including dialysis and plasmapheresis, and developing kidney-related scholar activities.
